This is the Spot for Day 21 of 30 Quilt Blocks in 30 Days Blog Hop and Quilt Along

Today is the 21st day of
30 Quilt Blocks in 30 Days
and
we are SPOT on to finish on time...

It's a blog hop and quilt along.
Every day in April there will be one super simple quilt block tutorial for the quilt along here
and
one designer showing a project with that block on their blog.

30 days of bloggers
showing new and different ways to use each of the
30 quilt blocks.

Today's all-star blogger is

Let's get started on

Block 21 - Spot
It's a cool name, right?

Size Unfinished: 10 1/2" x 10 1/2"
Finished Size: 10 x 10"

Cut 2 rectangles 3" x 4 1/4" - white
Cut 1 square 3" x 3" - green
Cut 2 rectangles 4 1/4" x 10 1/2"

Stitch them together as laid out with 1/4" seams.

Stitch the small rectangles to the square
then stitch the large top and bottom rectangles to the center unit.

One of my favorites is this quilt.
I guess because it has a lot of negative space but it's organized too.
The quilt has 30 blocks in a grid of 5 across and 6 down plus a 3 inch and 1 inch finished border.

See what our all-star blogger of the day,
made with this block.

I am using Tula Pink's newest fabric collection,
All Stars to show each block.

And you can win your own bundle of All Stars too.
The giveaway ends April 29th.
I will announce the winner on the last day of the blog hop
April 30th.

Comment on the designer of the day and come back here to enter every day in April
for more chances to win the All Stars fabric bundle.

It's great how easy these blocks are, and yet the gorgeous things people make from each one. This hop was a great idea, and something different.

I am not a quilter...yet...but I do enjoy all of you ladies who are quilters and share your amazing blocks with us. This is very doable...maybe someday I shall try it. Thank you for hopping. Creative Quilting Bliss...<3

That is a great block and your fussy cut "creature" is fabulous. Carol's version is super cute too.

I am enjoying each one of the blocks and the quilts you have designed. Plus, being able to see how someone else creates a quilt using the same block idea and how differently they all can be is so astonishing, yet so much fun. I know that I will be using your blocks/quilts in the future. They all seem fairly easy but with a variety of fabrics they make the most lovely quilts. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us. I discovered your sight/blog hop very late in the month but am just glad that I did!
