It's the Center of Attention! - Block #15 of 30 Quilt Blocks in 30 Days Blog Hop and Quilt Along

Welcome to day 15 of
30 Quilt Blocks in 30 Days!

This is the halfway point
of our
blog hop and quilt along.
Congratulations!

Every day in April there will be one super simple quilt block tutorial for the quilt along here
and
one designer showing a project with that block on their blog.

30 days of designers
showing new and different ways to use each of the
30 quilt blocks.

Today's all-star blogger is
and it's her birthday!!

She's the Center of Attention!!
and
Today's quilt block is
Block 15 - Center of Attention

Size Unfinished: 10 1/2" x 10 1/2"
Finished Size: 10 x 10"

Cut 4 squares 3" x 3" - two red / two white
Cut 2 rectangles 3" x 51/2" -  white
Cut 2 rectangles 3" x 10 1/2" -  white

Stitch them together as laid out with 1/4" seams.
Stitch the 4 patch in the middle first, then stitch the small rectangles to each side.
Lastly, stitch the long rectangles to the top and bottom.

Make 30 blocks and rotate every other one,
add a border
and
what a sweet quilt.

See what our all-star blogger or the day,
made with this block.

And wish her a
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Here's another idea for a quilt.
Look how different this quilt is with just a little color swapping.

Yep, that's the same block with just a couple color changes.

I am using Tula Pink's newest fabric collection,
All Stars to show each block.

And you can win your own bundle of All Stars too.
The giveaway ends April 29th.
I will announce the winner on the last day of the blog hop
April 30th.

Comment on the designer of the day and come back here to enter every day in April
for more chances to win the All Stars fabric bundle.

It's almost difficult to see the same block made both of those layouts.
