Block #11 - 30 Quilt Blocks in 30 Days

Welcome to day 11 of

30 Quilt Blocks in 30 Days.

A blog hop and quilt along.
Every day in April there will be one super simple quilt block tutorial for the quilt along here
one designer showing a project with that block on their blog.

30 days of designers
showing new and different ways to use each of the
30 quilt blocks.

Today's all-star designer is

showing a project with

Block 11 - Painted WIndow

Here's the block:

Size Unfinished: 10 1/2" x 10 1/2"

Finished Size: 10 x 10"

Cut 4 rectangles 3" x 51/2" - two purple / two white
Cut 2 rectangles 3" x 10 1/2" - white

Stitch them together as laid out with 1/4" seams.
Stitch the middle rectangles together first then stitch the outside rectangles to the middle unit.

Make a bunch of blocks
Make a quilt.

Check out what our designer of the day,
made with this block.

I am using Tula Pink's newest fabric collection,
All Stars to show each block.

And you can win your own bundle of All Stars too.
The giveaway ends April 29th.
I will announce the winner on the last day of the blog hop
April 30th.

I loved this idea too! Connie's quilt is beautiful!

Stopped by Connie's site first, and loved what I saw, so, at her suggestion, meandered over to see you Carla and really liked what I saw in both places. I really love your fabric choice, cause I'm a sucker for purple, but also like your choice of fabric on the 1st. day of the Block Blog. I'm currently working with bricks in a quilt I'm making, using Kaffee Fassett fabrics. Easy Peasy, and no strain on the old brain.
