Blend Fabrics Spring Quilt Market - Pillow and Round Zipper Boxes

When Blend Fabrics asked if I would make items for their booth for Spring Quilt Market,  I couldn’t have been more thrilled to help.

Now I am able to share the tutorials to make the Garden Pillow and Overnight Jewelry Boxes.

Anna Griffin has the pretties designs for Blend fabrics and if you have a garden at your home, her newest fabrics, Lila, are perfect for you

I was so happy to get to go to Quilt Market this year and see my items in the Blend Booth.

This pillow is a quilt as you go project with HeatNBond fusible fleece, therefore it has so much soft texture you’ll love lounging with it.

You can find the full tutorial to make this pillow over at Thermoweb.

Blend had originally asked me to make a few of the Round Boxes for market.
These are always perfect for pretty fabrics like the ones Anna Griffin designs.

These were made with a previous tutorial I did for Thermoweb.
I just didn't add the ruffle and I made a couple of different sizes.

It's so much more fun to create items for Quilt Market when you know you'll be able to go and see the projects in the booth.  I really hope this happens again.

Alphabet Letter Pillows for Spring Quilt Market

With Spring Quilt Market 2018 in the rear view, I can finally reveal these letter pillows
and
share the tutorial.

When Blend Fabrics asked if I would make alphabet pillows for their booth for Spring Quilt Market,  I couldn’t have been more thrilled to help.

The Blend fabrics are Maude Asbury’s Pen and Paper with whimsical ballpoint pens, paper airplanes, and colorful paperclips.

These letter cushions are made sturdy with HeatnBond High Loft Fusible Fleece
and

The tutorial to make your own letters is over at Thermoweb today.

Let me show you how to make bias strips for the sides of larger letters using HeatnBond interfacing to keep the letters in shape.

I've had so much fun making alphabet pillows.
They really make great gifts!

Have a happy week,

Big Top Circus Pillow Cover for Quilt Market -Blend Fabric Quilt as you Go Free Pattern

I was thrilled when Blend Fabrics asked if I would design a pillow cover to display at Quilt Market
and
now I can share it with you.

The fabrics are Calliope by designer, Maude Asbury.

Step right up to the big top with a circus tent full of balancing elephants, juggling seals and floating unicorns.

The curtains open and close.
To create this super fun pillow cover I used a quick quilt as you go method with
HeatnBond High Loft Fusible Fleece and then appliqued with  Heat N Bond Lite.

The full tutorial and FREE pattern is over on Thermoweb's blog today.

My grandma loved the circus and now that I’m going to be a gLamma, I can’t wait to share this pillow with the new baby.

Welcome to Spooky Town

Today I am over at the Therm-o-web blog
with my new super fun quilt made with the frightfully delightful
Spooky Town fabrics by Blend

I couldn't wait to put Cori Dantini’s characters into a quilt.
I've found a new fabric designer to keep my eye on, I really love these characters.
This  fabric is a dream.
The colors of the Spooky Town fabrics work so well with
Thermoweb Deco Foil and I am into foiling everything right now.

The full tutorial to make this welcoming quilt is free over at the
