Ruffled Flower Pillow Covers - Testing Your Own Pattern

Today I am revisiting a project from a couple of months ago.

These pillow covers were created for a tutorial for Thermoweb
and a
spring quilt market display for Anna Griffin Fabric.

The pattern has been very popular in my Craftsy shop, but I never dreamed how much my friends here at home would love them.

So, I hunted down more fabric on Esty from 2 great shops:

RebsFabStash and SewStitchingHappy

and
today I have completed 2 more pillow covers.

I had to follow my own pattern and was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to understand.  As I write patterns, sometimes I'm not sure it makes sense or is coming across as I want it to.
If you want to make these pillow covers try out this pattern.
I tested it more than once and it's not bad.  lol

Sew yourself a ruffled flower pillow cover to dress up your front porch or, as my friend, give these as a gift for a bedding set.

They are super soft because you use
in the ruffle to create dimension and softness.
The ruffles in these large blooms are super simple with the technique in the pattern.

The full tutorial is on the ThermOWeb blog click - Here
and
You can download the PDF pattern from my Craftsy pattern store HERE.
or

Choose a couple of coordinating prints and sew up some pretty pillows!

Now I only have 2 more to make....
Have a happy weekend!

Little Zipper Round Box - Tutorial

Here is a quick and beautiful gift idea for Mother's Day.

A sweet little fabric box for her to take overnight for jewelry or it's the perfect size for needles and thread for the sewer on the go.

It keeps its shape with HeatnBond® Craft Extra Firm Non-Woven Interfacing

Sewing in the round can be intimidating, but in the tutorial over on the Thermoweb blog today, I will show the steps of preparing each piece beforehand, to make this little round box a fun and quick project.

Look at all the little spools of Aurifil thread it will hold...

These little boxes are off to quilt market for the Anna Griffin booth for Blend Fabrics
But you can make your own for yourself or your mom.
Please visit the Thermoweb blog to check out my newest tutorial.

I've had a pretty crazy month of pattern making and tutorial writing, but this one is the last for spring quilt market 2017.  These boxes and the Romantic Ruffle Pillow Covers were two of my favorite patterns to write so far.

You can download the PDF pattern from my Craftsy pattern store HERE.

Thank you for all the love I've received with your comments, shares, and pins.
It's been a great spring!!!

Romantic Ruffle Flower Pillow Cover with Anna Griffin Fabric

I'm jumping for joy to share my newest tutorial for Thermoweb
and
Spring quilt market display for Anna Griffin Fabric.

I've seen so many flower pillows, but they all seem to use felt for the flowers.
I want my pillows to be soft and comfy.
That is why I decided to create this pattern and use
in the ruffle to create dimension and softness.

The full tutorial is on the ThermOWeb blog today click - Here
and
You can download the PDF pattern from my Craftsy pattern store HERE.
or

Can't you just picture these in a garden decor room or
my newest interest, Junk Gypsy, French Country, and Shabby Chic decorating style?

When these pillow covers come home
they will be my inspiration for a new bedroom.

I'm really thinking of a quilt with these romantic ruffled flowers.

Maybe...
