Day 7 of 30 Quilt Blocks in 30 Days Blog Hop and Sew Along

Today is day 7 of
30 Quilt Blocks in 30 Days.

A blog hop and quilt along.
Every day in April there will be one super simple quilt block tutorial for the quilt along here
and
one designer showing a project with that block on their blog.

30 days of designers
showing new and different ways to use each of the
30 quilt blocks.

Today's all-star designer is

showing a project with
Block 7 - Stripper

Here's the block:

Size Unfinished: 10 1/2" x 10 1/2"

Finished Size: 10 x 10"

Cut 4 rectangles 3" x 10 1/2" - two multi / two white

Stitch them together as laid out with 1/4" seams.

Stitch up a bunch and make a quilt.
30 blocks, 5 across and 6 down, with every other one rotated and a couple of borders.
Super modern and fun in any color.

Check out what our designer of the day,
made with this block.

I am using Tula Pink's newest fabric collection,
All Stars to show each block.

And you can win your own bundle of All Stars too.
The giveaway ends April 29th.
I will announce the winner on the last day of the blog hop
April 30th.

Another great block with that pretty fabric. I like the quilt, too. It is one I'd be pleased to own.

I'm thrilled that Joy Studio participated--and I'm astonished that Jane had never pieced a block before. Maybe a new quilter (or 2) has been born... I love Joy Studio fabrics. Glad for the reconnection with them. P.S. I really like the fabric you are using for your quilt this time. :)

I am traveling for work over the next 5 weeks. Wish I were home to gather the fabrics to do these quick and simple blocks!

Your blocks in Tula Pink's fabric looks amazing! It was fun to see today's block with stamping on it.

I love this blog hop because with my hectic life right now, it's easier to visit two blogs than the normal 5 or so to post. Great idea!

I love how you are encouraging new quilters. It's fun to find inspiration from non-piecers.
