Block #14 of 30 Quilt Blocks in 30 Days Blog Hop and Quilt Along

Welcome to day 14 of

30 Quilt Blocks in 30 Days.

A blog hop and quilt along.
Every day in April there will be one super simple quilt block tutorial for the quilt along here
and
one designer showing a project with that block on their blog.

30 days of designers
showing new and different ways to use each of the
30 quilt blocks.

Today's all-star blogger is

showing a project with
Block 14 - Median Strip

Here's the block:

Size Unfinished: 10 1/2" x 10 1/2"
Finished Size: 10 x 10"

Cut 4 rectangles 3" x 5 1/2" - two pink / two white
Cut 1 rectangle 5 1/2" x 10 1/2"

Stitch them together as laid out with 1/4" seams.
Stitch the smaller rectangles for the top and bottom first,
then stitch those units to the large rectangle.

Look how pretty a quilt with 30 blocks can be.
Lots of negative space for quilting.

Check out what our designer of the day,
made with this block.

I am using Tula Pink's newest fabric collection,
All Stars to show each block.

And you can win your own bundle of All Stars too.
The giveaway ends April 29th.
I will announce the winner on the last day of the blog hop
April 30th.

Thanks for your posts of these different blocks! I have saved so many! I think they will make great donation quilts for children!

I’m keeping up with these quick and easy blocks. Have enjoyed this hop greatly and appreciate you doing this. I have printed and saved all the instructions for future reference when a quick gift or charity quilt is needed.
