30 Quilt Blocks in 30 Days - Block 4

Are you ready for another block?
I'm having so much fun with this!

Let's get started on quilt block #4.

Dutch Door

Size Unfinished: 10 1/2" x 10 1/2"
Finished Size: 10 x 10"

Cut 2 squares 5 1/2" - one pink / one white
Cut 2 strips 3" x 10 1/2"

Stitch them together as laid out with 1/4" seams.
Stitch the two squares together first and then the outside strips to the center.

The fourth block of the 30 Day Quilt Block Challenge is finished.

This one just made me think of those split doors for some reason.

Now look at this quilt layout.
Rotate every other block in a 4 x 5 block grid (20 blocks)
and
 add a 1" border for a 42" x 52" throw.

Change the colors and it would be super fun!

Pretty cool, huh?!
