I don't have a big Friday Finish
but, for the first time in ages,
I have one!
I couldn't wait to stitch this pattern for a quick little pot holder that is perfect for the season.
This pumpkin pot holder is 7 1/2" x 7 1/2"
(I enlarged the pattern a tad)
and was paper pieced with scraps from my stash.
I doubled the cotton batting and quilted the pot holder with my walking foot and simple straight lines.
Sewing this sweet project has helped me with my quilting mojo.
I've started a few things.
How do you get your sewing mojo back?!?

Your potholder is darling. Too pretty to use (in this house) but so fun hanging on the wall.
That is so cute and will make the kitchen so festive for fall. I'd hate to soil it. ;-)
Cute as can be !
Carla, This is so cute!
Very cute! Having small finishes helps get the juices flowing when the sewing mojo departs.
That is really cute Carla! I seem to be going in fits and starts here too. I finish a few things and then it seems weeks and then back again. I have so much started and so it goes.
That is so cute! Great work.
That is really a cute project. I could use a project to help with my quilting mojo. Thanks for sharing this fun idea for using a great pattern.
Darling potholder. I love small, quick finishes when I've lost my sewing mojo. Those usually get my creative juices flowing!
That is so dang cute as a potholder...why didn't I think of that! LOL Thanks for showing this way to use it!
Gorgeous / great idea to double up on the batting. Sorry you've lost your mojo; hope it comes back soon, m'dear :)
Pretty fun as a pumpkin :) Love your version!
Sew cute!
Carla, this is just sew dang cute! I know what you mean about the mojo! Life happens. Nothing like a little project to get re-charged!
