FABRIC MINI QUILT CHRISTMAS ORNAMENTS WITH HEATNBOND INTERFACING

It's Christmas ornament week over at Thermoweb
and
I have a fun tutorial on their blog
to make

These fabric Christmas ornaments are so fun to create.  Once you find the right fabrics, they go together in a snap.

This idea will work with any of your favorite Christmas fabrics!
I chose Paintbrush Studio Fabric’s Handmaid Holiday collection to make these – they are perfect for these mini quilt ornaments.

Use this idea and create enough ornaments for a tree and gifts for all your friends too!

Fabric Star Ornaments

Today was a fun day for me.

I was invited to demonstrate a quick project at my local quilt shop,

Fabric Star Ornaments fit the bill.

You can't get much quicker than these ornaments.
It's a simple fold over and sew method with HeatNBond Lite.

We made kits for the shop and they were a hit.
If you would like to try the pattern, it's free to you, my readers
for the next week.

Merry and Bright Christmas House Ornaments

If you sew for Christmas, you've probably already started your projects
or
at least made a list of what needs to be made.

Today I have a little project over on the Thermoweb blog that you may want to add to your Christmas sewing list.

These little houses are fun to make and you could personalize them with a little name at the top too.

The fabrics for these little houses are
Merry and Bright by Cori Dantini for Blend Fabrics
and
the supplies to make the houses are
A little Aurifil thread:  50wt # 2692 and #2620 and you are set to make some little houses.

The full PDF Pattern can be found in my Craftsy store HERE.

Be sure to head over to the Thermoweb Blog
and check out all the fun
Christmas ideas this week for both paper and fabric!

Keepsake Handprint Christmas Ornament

Making little ornaments with sweet little hands can be a joy for you
 and
a keepsake for years to come.

I had a little helper for the design with this project.

Thank you, Bella!

Wouldn't it be fun to make one of these every year?

We designed this ornament for Ornament Week at Thermoweb.

The full, free tutorial for the Christmas Ornament is on the Thermoweb blog today.

Happy Creative Christmas!
