My Stitching Resolution Blog Hop - 2021 Stitching Goals

Today is My Stitching Resolution 2021 reveal.

I have invited my blogging friends to join a blog hop that doesn't require stitching,
it's all about their stitching plan for the new year.

They are sharing new ideas and inspiration for stitching in 2021.
All they have to do is finish this statement in a blog post:

My stitching resolution for 2021 is _____________________________.

We are all sharing today - it's a one day only blog hop!

Wednesday, December 30th

Visit each blog and leave a super sweet comment about their goals!

What's mine?

Here are the top 5 things I have in mind for 2021:

My stitching resolution for 2021 is
(in bold to make me accountable)

1.  Finish my goal to make quilts from the

The blocks are so fast to make and I want a quilt to represent each block.
I have made quilts representing 10 of the blocks, only 20 to go.
(unrealistic for 1 year, probably, but a girl can try!)

2.  Write 30 Quilt Blocks in 30 Days Volume 2.

I've had requests for more, so I am putting this here - accountability.
(there would have to be a blog hop too!)

3.  Continue partnering with Carol to host fun blog hops.
(behind the scenes this year, Carol at Just Let Me Quilt had my back
when I needed encouragement and more time!  Thank you, my friend!)

We have a lot of great ideas for the new year!

This is for the next hop.
I'll announce more details tomorrow, but if you want to start a project with a stripe,
you will be ahead of the game.

4.  Write patterns, organize patterns, fix pattern links, give needed attention to Etsy store, and Blog!

This blog needs so much attention -
(broken links, pictures disappearing, links to nowhere (thanks Craftsy), and new design?)
((this is truly unrealistic to do all, but I would like to fix all the Creatin' in the Sticks media))

5.  Keep one planner and write it down!

Keep track of schedules and ideas.
(between work, Thermoweb projects, blog hops, and designing deadlines I SHOULD keep one planner instead of 3 or 4 calendars.  I need luck with this one!)

Those are my top 5 stitching goals for the year!
(Luck is needed for sure!)

Here's to a healthy and happy 2021!
(it just has to be better)

Hi Carla, Thank You for organising a great Hop where we didn't have to sew anything just give us the nudge we all need to get on with things. I definitely needed it and now having committed it to a post will hopefully get it done! I, too, write lists for everything and have various books for various lists!!! I get there in the end!!!! I love the Blog Hops and can't thank you and Carol for all the work which goes into them. We get to see other Quilters and what they are up to and provide inspiration to do things.

Have a wonderful 2021. It has to be better than this year but I will be glad to see the back of 2020!!!!

Hugs & Love, Susie xx

Awesome idea for a hop, and great list of goals. I was always told you should have a couple of simple goals that can be met so you feel a sense of accomplishment, a couple of goals that are a bit harder and take a wee bit more work, then a stretch goal or two....that you know are extremely hard, but if you work on them a little it moves them along, and if you complete them you are awesome!

I made a quilt with your 30 day blocks - yet to be quilted. Better do that so I can play with the new 30.

Carla, I love your blog hops. SO excited and looking forward to version 2 of 30 blocks. It looks like staying organized is a theme for many of us!

You've always got my back so it seems only fair to have yours. I love working with you on the blog hops! You know how much I love those 30 blocks projects so this will be on my resolution list, too. A big "UGH" to having to tidy up my blog, no thanks to Craftsy and that other blog that disappeared. Guess that needs to go on my list, too. You rock my world (always) and I know it's going to be a great 2021...Happy New Year!

Thank you once again for organising another fun blog hop. The only trouble is that I have "gathered" more projects for my "one day list". Great goals and good luck with them.

Carla thanks so much for hosting this hop! It is my first hop with you! I am enjoying it and it is a good one for my first time. Seeing everyone's goals and thinking I should have added that to my list. But I am following your goal - Write it down! This will help to keep me moving.

Your goals look amazing!!! I look forward to participating in the various blog hops!!!
30 quilt blocks in 30 days ... that's a LOT to sew ... and even more to write patterns for!
Best of luck with all of your goals!
Happy Quilting! :-)

Thannk you for hosting us over this year with all the blog hops. You have some tough goals ahead of you. I am sure you can do it. You have a couple of goals that I need to address too but not brave enough to put them in writing at this time. Happy New year and I look forward to joining in on the 2021 blog hops.

I'm SEW glad that you are making quilts from your 30 Blocks in 30 Days a priority for this year, Carla! I have loved the ones you finished and look forward to more. Best of luck on your other goals, as well, and thanks for making us all focus on what we REALLY want from 2021!

Lots of great goals! Cleaning up the blog is such a task....I know I have let a few things lapse...maybe its time to revisit them.

Thank you Carla for organizing the perfect end of the year hop! It was so much fun to read about common goals and know that I’m not the only one with a pile of flimsies needing to be finished (I think my 3 bins wins me the booby prize 😊). Good luck with your list. I just noticed more missing photos and broken links on my blog so thanks for the reminder. Happy New Year 🥳 Carol

What a great list to pick and choose from just so long as you stick to the one about hops. Actually I don't see how you manage just that one let alone all the rest. Volume 2 will also be a great gift to the rest of us. Wishing you a happy and healthy 2021.
