Happy Hour - My Happy Place Row Along - Pattern and Giveaways

Welcome to Creatin' in the Sticks
and
The My Happy Place Row Along.

It's Happy Hour here in the Sticks!

And it's "Happy Hour" for my quilt row too.

There's no better place on earth than a tropical beach, the sun setting, and a margarita truck.
Well, for me anyway.
I've never seen a margarita truck, but I think it would be fun and a little bit better than ice cream.
It could drive around playing Margaritaville by Jimmy Buffett.

Put this scene in my backyard and add my family and it would be perfect.

Oh, and a food truck would be nice too.
(this is a hint for another pattern coming soon)

That is my Happy Place.

Happy Hour

Yay, it's a Margarita bus! My co-works and I are always saying we need a visit from the Margarita bus after a hectic day. I will have to make this for our room. Thanks!

I grew up by the beach and that scene looks very familiar to me--the "strips and sauce" truck used to pull up, long before the food truck craze was a thing.

Love your block. Since I live inland, I think I'd prefer an ice cream truck as my food truck! It's been in the 90's this week and I'm sick of it!! :-)
Thanks so much for joining this QAL and allowing us to enjoy your creativity!!

Such a fun applique scenic row you have designed! Any time I get to visit the Oregon Coast, I love walking along the beach and finding shells. Another favorite is to sit and watch the waves hit the rocks and just enjoying the time together with family. Thank you for sharing and designing. Have a great day!

What a fun little row! Here in Michigan, we have the "Cheeseburgers in Paradise" Festival every year in the tip of the thumb, Caseville (about 90 minutes from my home). Jimmy Buffet has been invited for the past however many years they've held it, but he's never shown his face. I think he would love it, though, because everyone dresses like they're in the islands, the vibe is very "chill" and casual, and it's a lot of fun. Thanks for a great row to commemorate fun times!

As much as I adore a good Margarita, I have never thought about a Margarita truck! Wouldn't that be heavenly to order any flavor of gourmet Margarita your heart desired, then take it to your backyard for sipping? Yep, sunny days, beaches, umbrellas and Margaritas spell Happy Hour to me too!

Hi Carla! I agree, the margarita truck is a fabulous idea. Adults would come running instead of kiddos. You could use the plastic glasses, offer the rim ringed with salt or sugar depending on the type of margarita. And offering it near the beach with food trucks handy for those munchie times would be super. I love your row for this fun QAL. I want to know how I can join in with your November blog hop? I'm sure details will be coming on your website soon, so I'll keep watching. ~smile~ Roseanne
