Counteract Crazy
This time of year is absolutely nuts at work for me.
This time of year is absolutely nuts at work for me.
Everyone needs their hair ready for the holidays.
So when I have a few hours to myself
a block or two five is a great way to escape.
This book has been on my list for awhile.
A couple of weeks ago
posted about some blocks in the book and joining a block along.
Over the weekend I jumped in
and
am joining
with hopes of making the blocks in Tula Pink's book starting with #1 and going in order to the end.
My plan is to use only scraps on the blocks and to make all 100 blocks
for a king sized quilt.
I need more bed quilts around here.
What have you been up to?
Want to make up your own block along?

That looks like fun and I love what you've done ! Where have I been, I've never heard of that book ? Tula Pink is pretty awesome.
great fabrics you are using
That sounds like fun. I love your fabrics. Personally, I think you can never have too many quilts!
Great job on the blocks so far. And a fun use of scraps. Can't wait to see the finish!
I love the blocks! Bright, fun, happy!
There's a QAL running in Germany right now, you can find the details here: https://www.flickr.com/groups/germanqaltulapink/pool/
I usually also post about the QAL, but I haven't the past few weeks.
But, I'm at block 97 in two colorways, only three missing. They're a pleasure to sew and you definitely improve your skills. I hope you manage to keep this projects going and hope to see a finished Tula Quilt on your blog one day! Best wishes!
You have pretty scraps! Love how your blocks are coming along.
How fun to create blocks and show them with the photos. Your blocks are stunning. Sharing Joy and Jingles...
I'm so glad you linked up this week! Your blocks look great. The linky will be up and running starting in January--I'm taking the month of December off. (Guess I should mention that on the block maybe??)
Hey, I lived in Scott City for five years! We did all our shopping in Garden City. We made great friends there and in fact we will be visiting next summer. Great people there--although I do NOT miss the wind!
