Pause...

Between making my daughter's king sized quilt and hand piecing another quilt, there hasn't been a finish here in quite awhile.  BIG projects take so much time.  Don't get me wrong, I love these projects, but sometimes we just need to finish something to keep our sanity.  Right?

Today I pushed pause on the other projects and made a pillow to go with the king sized quilt.

Part of the trimmings of the pieced border on the quilt are triangles that make 2" half square triangles.  There are 36 of them in this pillow with 5" borders.  The pillow is 18" x 18".

Someday there will be a quilt and other pillows to show, but for now I will enjoy this little finish and share it over at Crazy Mom Quilts and Confessions of a Fabric Addict.

On to bigger things,

This is a lovely finish, Carla, such a clever use of scraps and I really like the effect of it :)

Totally agree. Sometimes you really just need something quick! Then you feel refreshed when you get back to your big project :) Lovely pillow!

Love your pillow. It's always good to have smaller quicker projects in between those bigger ones xx
