Today's block is simple and so fun.

Block 27 - Broken Stripes

Size Unfinished: 10 1/2" x 10 1/2"

Finished Size: 10" x 10"

Cut 2 rectangles 4 1/4" x 10 1/2" - white

Cut 4 rectangles 3" x 1 3/4" - 2 blue / 2 white

Cut 2 rectangles 1 3/4" x 5 1/2" - 1 white / 1 blue

Stitch them together as laid out with 1/4" seams.

Stitch the middle rectangles together then sew the top and bottom rectangles to the middle unit.

Put together in a quilt, by rotating, there is a lot of 

Broken Stripes.

Change one of the large rectangles on each block

and

the quilt is so different.
