As I was visiting the posts, new activities were presented

I decided to jump on board with a few.
This one is unique in that you do all the stitching.

This week is the first round and the prompt, Spool Block, is by
I had an orphan block I reworked into a spool for my
SAHRR (Stay at Home Round Robin) 6" center block.
Then I used the tutorial provided by Home Sew By Us to make the 3" spool blocks for the first border round.
I can't wait to do the next round.
I have no idea what I'm doing, but I'm jumping in with both feet. haha
Then over at Days Filled With Joy
there is a really neat challenge for the year.
There will be a prompt and a tutorial link every month
and
at the end of the year, we will have a full gift box.

and I just had to make one too.

The idea is you look at your shelf of quilt books and find an old one or one you haven’t used in a while and “dust it off” and then make something from the book.
I need to use those books so I'm in.
