I'm Watching You over at Thermoweb and more Halloween Goodies

Don't ya just love decorating for Halloween?

I've been having so much fun.

Just imagine an eyeball door hanger on every knob in the house.

 Wouldn't that be a hoot?

I'm on the Thermoweb blog today to show you how to make an eyeball or two.

The sheen in the eye is so easy to do with HeatnBond Liquid Vinyl

You will think someone is watching you everywhere you go...

The pattern is free over on the Thermoweb blog.

Next week there will be lots of Halloween inspiration as we hop around in the

Gremlins, Goblins, and Ghouls Oh My Blog Hop.
Joan has the full schedule over at MooseStashQuilting.

Don't ya just love this time of year?

quick and easy with my technique using StitchnSew EZ-Print Quilt Block Sheets.

It's so fun to take over the Thermoweb blog for an afternoon to show
my sweet little mouse.

The free pattern and tutorial
can be downloaded at the Thermoweb Blog.

Virtual Cookie Exchange - Spread Joy

It's time to make Christmas happen here in the Sticks
and
my friend Carol at Just Let Me Quilt
has a way of pushing me to get my projects finished on time.

Welcome to
Creatin' in the Sticks
and
my stop for the
where bloggers are sharing Christmas cookies recipes, traditions, and/or sewing projects.
Thank you, Carol, for including me!

'Tis the season to spread JOY!

I'm thrilled to have a free tutorial over at the
today for this
JOY Wreath
and
Merry and Bright Fabrics by Corri Dantini for Blend Fabrics.

Put it together in an afternoon.
(I made it faster than I iced the cookies - lol)

The free PDF pattern and tutorial is available today by clicking HERE.

When I found out my tutorial for Thermoweb was the same day as my post for the hop
I decided to try a theme of JOY and that is how these cookies happened.

Lemon JOY Cookies
(not the dishwashing liquid - lol)

They are sweet and tart at the same time.

I made the recipe a JPG file so just right click on it to save it.

Here is the list of bloggers ready to show you some new ideas and traditions for your holiday:

BEWARE - Black Cat at the House

Is it too early for Halloween crafting?
I don't think so.

This doorknob hanger has been approved by my inspiration for this project
and
today I'm sharing it over at the Thermoweb blog.

Have a room you don't want anyone to enter?
Want to warn trick-or-treaters?
Here's a fun way to decorate and solve those problems.
The colors work perfectly with a farmhouse decor too.

The stitched writing is
quick and easy with my technique using StitchnSew EZ-Print Quilt Block Sheets.

You'll find the free pattern and full tutorial over at the Thermoweb Blog today
so you can start Halloween crafting right away.

By the way, this cat was my inspiration for the design.
It took forever to get one good picture (at the top of this post)
I have so much respect for animal photographers.

And baby photographers...

The grand baby and the animals in a stare down.

Half Staff showed up with half a tail (the reason for his name) and adopted us.
He has grown a lot.
He was super tiny and pretty beat up when he arrived
and
he tried his best to nurse from the dog
(whom has never had pups and never will).

We don't know where Half Staff came from
but the dog is happy to have a companion
and
I am happy to have a black cat for some fun sewing inspiration.

You can never have too many shop cats in the country.

SHINY UNCLE SAM HAT DOOR HANGER

It's that time of year!
Bring our the red white and blue.

The 4th of July is right around the corner
and
today I have a free tutorial over at Thermoweb for this fun

The best way to dress up 4th of July projects
is with a little
and
you can make this project in an afternoon
with

Believe it or not, my fabrics are from Windham Fabrics' O Christmas Tree line.
I just added a little white fabric.
Who knew Christmas fabrics could work for the 4th of July?!

If you haven't tried Deco Foil™
you are missing a lot of fun.

The magic of removing the sheet of foil and seeing your design there is breathtaking.
That's my favorite part.
Well, the fact that is sparkles and shines is fun too.

GIve it a try!

Sweet Summertime Door Hanger

Are you ready for summer?

I am a summertime girl and love it so much I'm ready to break out the summer decor.

Be “ice cream social” this summer with this fun door hanger.

I'm over on the Thermoweb Blog today
with the full free tutorial to make your own.

The writing is so easy to stitch with  StitchnSew EZ Quilt Block Sheets • 8.5 in x 11 in

Let sweet summertime begin!
This door hanger finishes at 9 1/2" x 15" without the ribbon hanger.

Speaking of ribbon, this was the first time I used the
and I never want to use another ribbon.
It's so different and easy to use.
I made a bow so easily.

This little applique door hanger is fun to make with HeatnBond EZ Print Lite and it's very dimensional with HeatnBond Fleece Fusible High Loft.

Go to Thermoweb and see.
