Welcome to day 4 of
30 Quilt Blocks in 30 Days.
A blog hop and sew along.
Every day in April there will be one super simple quilt block tutorial for the sew along hereA blog hop and sew along.
and
one designer showing a project with that block on their blog.
30 days of designers
showing new and different ways to use each of the
30 quilt blocks.
Our all-star designer of the day is SBD Embroidery and Quilting.
First, let's make block #4
Size Unfinished: 10 1/2" x 10 1/2"
Finished Size: 10 x 10"
Stitch them together as laid out with 1/4" seams.
Stitch the two squares together first and then the outside strips to the center.
Block #4, Dutch Door, finished.
Now, look at this quilt layout.
Rotate every other block in a 4 x 5 block grid (20 blocks)
and
add a 1" border for a 42" x 52" throw.
Check out what our designer of the day,
made with this block.
I am using Tula Pink's newest fabric collection, All Stars to show each block.
And you can win your own bundle of All Stars too.
The giveaway starts April 1st and ends April 29th.
I will announce the winner on the last day of the blog hop
April 30th.
Comment on the designer of the day and come back here to enter every day in April
for a chance to win the All Stars fabric bundle.
Here is the full schedule for the Blog Hop and links to tutorials for each block.

This is so fun--all the simple simple blocks that look so complex! Looking forward to the rest of the month's blocks.
Love the Tula Pink fabric!
I like the tablerunner idea. I am more a traditional quilter but have done some of the more modern patterns.
Your fussy cutting on this one is perfection!
On Monday morning, I chose ONE link to click from AmandaJean's link up and it was your post about the blog hop/sew along!!!
I don't normally get to participate in sew alongs, but this one is simple enough that I'll be able to keep up (and catch up easily if I miss a day) so
I am excited to be joining you
Thanks for hosting ~ Tracy
Looks like fun...love the fabric
Nice block. Wish I was a TP fan, I liked her earlier prints. 😔
What a great idea about how a simple block can look so appealing. Love your fussy cutting!
I've loved seeing the projects and finding new blogs.
Thanks for hosting! I'll hop around a bit
