It's Day 3 of the Stitch It and Gift It Blog Hop and Giveaway

Wow, the ideas and inspiration just keep coming from the great line up of bloggers
participating in the
Stitch It and Gift It Blog Hop

It makes me want to start a new project
or
2, 3, 4...

I have invited bloggers to start the season of giving with a blog hop
celebrating the art of sewing or quilting
and then
gifting.

Some of the stitched gifts will be small and some will be large.

Some will be personal and some will be charitable donations.

A week of gift-giving inspiration!

I'm excited to introduce today's line-up of bloggers.

I am always moved by the giving hearts of so many quilters
and
love reading the stories behind the gifts.

The gifts we give aren't always personal
but
are from just wanting to make a difference for someone.

Maybe you've thought of joining the 1 Million Pillowcase Challenge
to provide comfort for those in need.

They haven't met 1 million yet and you can help.
Click HERE for the details.
If you hurry you can send in the pillowcases for chances for the last prize drawings of the year.

In the spirit of giving
I am having a
 GIVEAWAY

One of my favorite online fabric shops is

One of my readers will receive a
$25.00 Gift Card to go
SHOPPING!!!

Come back every day of the hop, visit all the blog posts of the day, leave a comment,
and
 enter the giveaway.
(I've extended the time to enter to allow for everyone to visit all the blogs)

I've yet to contribute to the pillow case cause, I've concentrated much of the charity work I've done with our community. We donate quilts to local fire victims and at our local Ronald McDonald house. Good causes!

I work with hospitalized children and can tell you first hand how much the pillowcases are appreciated and enjoyed! It is such a nice way to be able to make a child's hospital stay a little easier and their room a little more "normal". Thank you to everyone who takes the time to donate pillowcases!

Lots of good projects today. I've been making pillowcases with one of our LQS for our children's hospital. The shop has donated thousands since the campaign began.
