30 Quilt Blocks in 30 Days - Block 14

Yesterday the block was a little more time consuming than most,

so today let's go super simple and fast.

This one is called

Median Strip

Size Unfinished: 10 1/2" x 10 1/2"

Finished Size: 10 x 10"

Cut 4 rectangles 3" x 51/2" - two pink / two white

Cut 1 rectangle 5 1/2" x 10 1/2"

Stitch them together as laid out with 1/4" seams.

Stitch the smaller rectangles for the top and bottom first,

then stitch those units to the large rectangle.

It's amazing how a block can look so different in a quilt with a little rotating.

The 30 blocks for this quilt would whip up in a flash 

and

 no one would know it was so super simple.
