Block number 10 means we are 1/3 of the way through the blocks.
It seems like they are flying by.
Here is block #10
Chunky Pinwheel
Size Unfinished: 10 1/2" x 10 1/2"
Finished Size: 10 x 10"
Cut 8 rectangles 3" x 5 1/2" - four red / four white
Stitch them together as laid out with 1/4" seams.
Stitch the rectangles right sides together,
pairing one white with one red.
Next stitch the units together to form the Chunky Pinwheel block.
Wouldn't a quilt of Chunky Pinwheels be fun?
I can see them all different colors with a white background too.

Another fun block!
"Scrap busting" on schedule for today! This block is going to be put to use in a scrappy quilt...now the hard part...what to use for the background. :)
Looks like a cartwheel.
Is the quilt you illustrate four blocks across and five blocks down with a w inch border? I am working through these blocks as an exercise to improve my cutting skills and practise making 1/4” seams. I am making four 5 inch blocks of each example to then practise machine quilting. Thanks for these.
I recently came across these 30 quilt patterns and I love them. I am wanting to use several diffrent blicks for my granddaughters quilts, but I'm having trouble getting the blicks together. They are diffrent sizes. Ive followed the pattern to a T. This pinwheel and center of attention i cant get the sewed pieces to fit together to make a block. The 5" strip is too small to fit the 2 sewed 6" block. Any help would be appreciated. Carla, these are fabulous. Thank you.
Teresadc, you have your settings at no-reply so I can not email you. I will try to help you here. Once the 3" x 5 1/2" rectangles are stitched together, the measurement for the unit is 5 1/2" x 5 1/2", not 6". The four 5 1/2" squares stitch together perfectly.
