Welcome to the first day of the
Gastly Ghouls Blog Hop!
I'm happy to kick things off with
A Pterodactyl Halloween
Carol at Just Let Me Quilt presented bloggers with the challenge to make something spooky, kooky, or anything wickedly Halloween. Of course, I was in. This is right up my alley.
Thank you, Carol, for inviting me to join this super fun blog hop!
I have 1 very special girl (my daughter) that loves Halloween
and her daughter loves it too!
So I started a tradition to make a little doll to look like
my Granddaughter in her Halloween costume every year.
She has the last 3 years of Halloween Friends and loves them.
When I texted my daughter to ask what my Granddaughter was dressing up as this year for Halloween,
this is the picture I received:
Well, that was a surprise, but I put on my Grammie panties and got to work. lol
Lizzy put on her costume for a little Boo at the Zoo action.
Perfect timing for the hop!
So I gave her the new Halloween Friend.
I think she likes it!
That has to be a priority for next year, but for now, she plays with them year-round.

That is so cute. She will certainly treasure the dolls and the memories!
Such sweet dolls! I love this idea. I might just have to make them for my girls! My youngest is going to be Captain America and my oldest is going to be Black Panther. Thank you for the link to the pattern.
What fun! The doll is cute, and your little one is even cuter. Good job, Grandma!
That is amazing work, Carla! You did a great job of making a pterodactyl costumed doll! And she sure does look like she likes it! (best part, right?)
This is just the best tradition and your little Pterodactyl granddaughter is obviously thrilled with it. She's adorable in her costume! All of your dolls are amazing (like you) and look so wickedly cute. Thank you for sharing them!
Your dolls are all amazing! Such a clever idea to match your Granddaughter's costume.

That is just the cutest thing I have ever seen. You have one adorably happy little one with her new doll!
That is an unusual costume pick for a young girl, but she looks adorable in it and the doll is perfect.
That's fantastic that you can make her a doll to match each year. Wonderful new addition for 2021!
That is such a fun project and cute idea for a yearly doll in costume! Mine are all too old for dolls now, but this would be so much fun!! Thanks for sharing, Carla!
