Welcome to day 2 of
30 Quilt Blocks in 30 Days.
Every day in April there will be one quilt block for the sew along here
and
one designer showing a project with that block on their blog.
Let's get to the block and then you can hop on over to see what
has created with the block.
Block #2
Double Stuffed
Size Unfinished: 10 1/2" x 10 1/2"
Finished Size: 10 x 10"
Cut 3 strips:
1 for the middle: 5 1/2" x 10 1/2"
2 for top and bottom: 3" x 10 1/2"
Stitch them together as laid out with 1/4" seams.
Block #2 is finished!
Only 28 more to go to make this modern quilt with lots of negative space for quilting.
Using one color? Find the fabric requirements in the tab above.
I am using Tula Pink's newest fabric collection, All Stars to show each block.
And you can win your own bundle of All Stars too.
The giveaway starts April 1st and ends April 29th.
I will announce the winner on the last day of the blog hop
April 30th.
Comment on the designer of the day and come back here to enter every day in April
for a chance to win the All Stars fabric bundle.
Here is the full schedule for the month of April and links to tutorials for each block.

Enjoying the hop so far (of course!). :)
ReplyDeleteIs there a fabric list of needed yardage to complete this project? I would love to start but want to make sure I have the needed amount of background fabric! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteAnother great block that's easy!
ReplyDeleteI love how versatile these blocks are on their own.
ReplyDeleteThis is going to be a fun month!!! Thanks for organizing this!
ReplyDeleteYour fabrics look great in this block, Carla ... :) Pat
ReplyDeleteLove the squirrels. I just purchased a fat quarter.
ReplyDeleteI have to behave a few days before I can start the hop, but I'm definitely ready. I think about you every time I'm near Dodge.
ReplyDeleteI like the pattern block, but I also liked seeing the entire quilt in only two colors. I was thinking of making one in r/w/b for American Hero Quilts.
ReplyDeleteThose squirrels are too cute! I like this block, it's quick and easy and makes a nice looking top.
ReplyDeleteI think Kathy's block is super versatile!
