Color

I'm participating in the
and
the prompt for yesterday and today are about color.

One of my favorite subjects!

Let Your Passion Shine is a throwback from almost 7 years ago.

On days there hasn't been a sewing project to blog about,
 I've been using
Cheryl's prompts to keep up with the challenge.

Yesterday's prompt was
Favorite Color
and today,
Least Favorite Color.

Color me RAINBOW!!!

But maybe you already knew that.
I linked the original posts to the pictures above if you would like to know more about the stories.

Yep, I love a lot of colors but especially love them all together.
There are lots of rainbow quilts around here.
This one hasn't made it home from The International Quilt Festival yet.

My least favorite color?
BROWN.

But footballs are brown and I live in the Sticks which is kind of brown.
I guess it works with some quilts but I won't go out of my way to make something in brown.

What's your favorite color?  Do you have a color you don't especially like?
Tell me about it.

  1. My favorite color, right now, is teal. Least favorite color is orange. I find that I prefer cool colors with pops of warm colors. So, I'm working on a white, teal and orange quilt!! Way more teal than orange!! Yeah, brown is not a big winner here either, but the quilt I made for my bed (for now) is dark blue and brown...go figure!! Living on a farm, it doesn't show the dirt!!!

  2. Your use of brown is great though. The football quilt is a winner for sure. My least favorite color is any shade or tone of pink. Favorite is most greens, which many people do not like.

  3. My favorite color is any hue of blue. I don't really hate a color but use orange and pink the least in my work.

  4. I definitely agree about brown!

  5. You are definitely my favorite colorful quilter with such a gift for putting things together. Even your brown football is amazing, of course. My favorite color is purple, but I don't make quilts with it.
