21 years? Wasn't that just yesterday?
I really was into Debbie Mumm too.
That seems so long ago and so crazy.
Finished size: 15" x 14"
I purchased this book a couple year ago at an antique shop for 3 dollars
It has a quilt in it with baseball gloves, bats, and balls that I really want to make someday, but time wasn't on my side to do it this time.
So I chose this cute mini and updated it with more modern colors from my stash.

ReplyDeleteYour quilt looked familiar because I have that book too and bought it new way back then. I love how fresh and new your quilt looks in the brighter colors rather than the country colors Debbie Mumm used. I may need to dust off that book myself and look at it with fresh eyes. ReplyDeleteI'm a coffee kind of girl...but this is just too cute. I think I have this book in my stash too. Oh no...another reason to go back to the dreaded shelf of books! LOL!!! Move over other projects!

ReplyDeleteWhat a cute wall hanging, especially with the colors you chose! Besides, I'm a tea drinker, so this one holds special appeal for me. I have several Debbie Mumm books and made some of her projects "back in the day." Think I need to go through them again... :)

ReplyDeleteIsn't it amazing what a few years can do to our perspective of what are the best colors for a piece. I believe I owned this book at one time, possibly still do ;-} Love what you did with this mini.

ReplyDeleteI had this book at one time... I miss all my Debbie Mumm books, she has the coolest projects and yours is no exception. I love the teacups and what a great job you did with the colors making it bright and cheerful.
