Little Pink Houses - Welcome to My House Blog Hop

Welcome to my house
here at
Creatin' in the Sticks!

Carol at Just Let Me Quilt always has the best hop ideas and when she told me about this one I went straight to my drawing board to make my little pink houses.

I've always wanted to make a "Little Pink Houses" quilt.

You know the song by John Cougar, or is it John Cougar Mellencamp, or is it, John Mellencamp?

Anyway, that is my inspiration.

Little Pink Houses

100 little pink houses all scrappy and made with lots of love
but not finished.
I want to add borders and maybe one red, white, and blue house too.
It's 60" x 60" right now
and
I love it so much
I want to make it bigger.

The pattern for the 12" finished block-  PDF Pattern can be found in my Craftsy store HERE.
Free for a week for you.

This quilt is a great stash buster and I can see it in all different colors too.
BUT, I love the pink!!!

Thank you, Carol, for giving me the reason to make this quilt.
It's been in the back of my mind forever!!

Be sure and check out the other houses today:

September 13th

"Oh but ain't that America, for you and me
Ain't that America, we're something to see baby
Ain't that America, home of the free, yeah
Little pink houses for you and me, oh for you and me"

Thank you for stopping by my house.
Come again soon!

Great quilt. . . and now I think I need to make something like it for my house. Hmmm, I'm not sure how large my stash of pink fabric is, so I may end up with the rainbow by the time I am done. LOL
