Is it too early for Halloween crafting?
I don't think so.
This doorknob hanger has been approved by my inspiration for this project
and
today I'm sharing it over at the Thermoweb blog.
Have a room you don't want anyone to enter?
Want to warn trick-or-treaters?
Here's a fun way to decorate and solve those problems.
The colors work perfectly with a farmhouse decor too.
The stitched writing is
quick and easy with my technique using StitchnSew EZ-Print Quilt Block Sheets.
You'll find the free pattern and full tutorial over at the Thermoweb Blog today
so you can start Halloween crafting right away.
By the way, this cat was my inspiration for the design.
It took forever to get one good picture (at the top of this post)
I have so much respect for animal photographers.

And baby photographers...
The grand baby and the animals in a stare down.
Half Staff showed up with half a tail (the reason for his name) and adopted us.
He has grown a lot.
He was super tiny and pretty beat up when he arrived
and
he tried his best to nurse from the dog
(whom has never had pups and never will).
We don't know where Half Staff came from
but the dog is happy to have a companion
and
I am happy to have a black cat for some fun sewing inspiration.
You can never have too many shop cats in the country.
I love that photo of the dog, cat and little one. We had an abandoned kitten that nursed from our basset hound and she DID get milk.
ReplyDeleteThat is such a cute door knob hangar. Halloween will be here before we know it.
I like the photo of the kitty actually looking at the door hanger, and of course the one of your granddaughter & the animals. :) This is a cute project, and certainly it's not too early to think Halloween. Stores did eons ago... Now I know something to do with those StitchnSew sheets I mistakenly ordered one time. Thanks for sharing this project.
