30 Quilt Blocks in 30 Days - My Day - Happy Easter!

Hello and welcome to Creatin' in the Sticks!

I'm excited to start this month long blog hop
and
show my project using

The four patch block is so simple, but can be used in so many ways.

I love fussy cutting fabrics and the four patch is a fun way to use those blocks.

But my favorite way to use the four patch quilt block
is to use it in the background of applique.

Since my day to post in the blog hop is Easter,
I thought this quilt fit the occasion.  lol

For this quilt, I made 25 of the 4 patch blocks out of fabric I had been given by a friend.

Next I added a 5"  finished border
to make my
Happy Easter quilt 60" x 60".

Then I added the bunny by cutting him out of minky fabric and basting him on the quilt with

I stitched Mr. Bunny on the quilt then added the sign with HeatnBond Lite.

So I finally have something decorating the house for Easter this year.

Thank you for stopping by.
Have a Happy Easter
and
Happy April too.
