Let's make another quilt block.
I'm calling this one
Baby in a Corner
Size Unfinished: 10 1/2" x 10 1/2"
Finished Size: 10 x 10"
Cut 2 squares 5 1/2" - one orange / one white
Cut 1 rectangle 5 1/2" x 10 1/2"
Stitch them together as laid out with 1/4" seams.
The third block of the 30 Day Quilt Block Challenge is finished.
We are trending on the super fast and simple side with these blocks
but they can make the funnest quilts.
Look at all the wonderful negative space this quilt layout makes by rotating the blocks.
Add a 2 1/2" border to a 4 x 4 block grid for a 45" x 45" throw.
I can picture some really pretty quilting in those wide open spaces.
