A Queen and Her Dragon - Fairy Tales Blog Hop

Welcome to the first day of the

Fairy Tales
Blog Hop!

I'm happy to kick things off with the
A Queen and her Dragon!

Joan of MooseStash Quilting has invited bloggers to sew something that's our Fairy Tale
What's your fairy tale?

Thank you, Joan, for inviting me to join this super fun blog hop!

My fairy tale starts with my precious...

princess granddaughter who says she is the queen.
Queen Elsa to be exact.

Our queen loves dragons and what is more "Fairy Tale" than dragons?

The pattern is Diggles the Dragon from the Funky Friends Factory.
He's about 18" and was super fun to make.

Every dragon needs a queen so I made the queen dressed in her favorite
attire (frozen colors and crown) by tweaking an original doll design.

My granddaughter loves playing with stuffies and she will love these.

The Queen and Her Dragon will be played and played with
and
this Grammie's Fairy Tale will be fulfilled!

Check out all the other Fairy Tales!

It's so fun to get inspiration from Blog Hops.
I'm sure we will have way too many ideas swimming in our heads by the end of the week.

Sign-ups for the August Blog Hop will start soon (after the Fairy Tales Hop is over).
Stay tuned for the announcement.
Orange you glad?   ;)
