This is the third challenge of Season 12 of Project Quilting.
I'm excited to join in the challenge - Virtual Vacation
My entry:
Stick a Pin in Me - I'm DONE!
Kim at Persimon Dreams hosts Project Quilting
and
and
this is the 9th year I'm participating.
Kim announces a challenge and you have one week to create something quilty.
Prizes can be won and it's a great way to meet new blogging friends.
The rules in this challenge are that the project must be inspired by the theme of vacation. It must include either applique, piecing, or have 3 layers stitched together by hand or machine.
I'm on a roll with paper pieced pincushions (this is my third)
and
since there was no size restriction again (thanks!)
I kept with my season 12 theme and created my dream vacation in a wee little pattern.
The finished pincushion is 4" square so you can imagine how small these pieces are.

ReplyDeleteLove this one too!! Sew cute! I found a 5" paper piece log cabin and made myself one from scraps. I like it, but it's not as sweet as the one you made with sayings. The palm tree and beach look especially nice this morning. It's -2 degrees here! I'm eager to see what you do next!
