The Road Home Row Along - Dodge City, Kansas

Welcome to Creatin' in the Sticks!
Dodge City, that is.

You've probably heard this at one time or another.

You can see, around here we say
"Get the h*** out of Dodge"
 a bit different.

Some of us like it here.

On my road home this is what I see.

In fact, there are metal cowboys everywhere.
Even in my front yard...

My hubby created this one.

Cowboys and the beautiful sunrise and sunsets inspired me to create my row for

The row finished is 12" x 36"

You can download the pattern at my Craftsy Pattern shop.
Click this button.

I think this row would make a fun quilt for any cowboy.
The letters are optional...

The other rows available in the row along today are:

  17. What a wonderful design, Carla! LOL, Get the heck into Dodge! I would love to come and visit. Thank you for the pattern. I think it's fun to see all those cowboy silhouettes around town, and the one your husband made is fabulous. I see my Dad in something like that. I have fond memories of him scouting the hills for huckleberries on his old horse, Skipper.

  27. Just like last year, another fabulous row. It's been a long wait .. I have had many people say to me how much they were looking forward to this row, so now they have their opportunity to snatch it up. Your a real trooper to come along with us on this journey again this year and it's been so much fun having you. It's amazing how fast the year has passed by isn't it. I look forward to enjoying more and if you do a full quilt I definitely hope to see it.. maybe you'll even bring it to my new home. :)

  51. Oh just sew cool! It would go great for a quilt for my cousin. She was raised on a ranch, lives in one with her hubby, who is a farrier and teaches. She sews, just like most of us girl cousins learned how, but she says she can't get the knack of quilting! I wish I had time to make a themed quilt for each of my family and friends. M
