ReplyDeleteI love these fabrics, thanks for a really great giveaway. Nowadays rainy days herald the appearance of chldren's games in our house but they are so much fun - Ants in my Pants is a big favourite but you can't beat the old reliables like snakes and ladders.

I am teaching my kids monopoly, although right now they are more interested in going around the board and trying to land on the treasure, lol.
ReplyDeleteI have a cupboard full of board and card games that my kids and I used to play regularly when they were little. Scrabble is still one of my all time favorites and a card games called Frog Juice.

ReplyDeleteAwhile back, we found some new board games that keeps all the kids and their significant others entertained for hours. They are the Redneck Game of Life and Trailer Park Wars. They are pretty cheesy, and fairly clean fun. Who does not want a dozen red headed stepkids named Daryl ? LOL Thanks for the contest.

ReplyDeleteAlone, I love to break out a jigsaw puzzle. My younger grandkids love card games. Have you ever played Smurfs? My Mom use to bring it when she would visit and my grownup daughter found it for me on ebay so I could bring it when I visit. It's a card game a lot like war but because they are Smurfs, so much cuter. Thanks.

Monopoly is my favorite! I have several different versions that I love: Lord of the Rings, Mega Monopoly, Klingon Monopoly, Floridaopoly etc.

ReplyDeleteWe've got this game called Pandemic- it has expansion packs too. It's quite complicated at first but you play against the game, so everyone either wins or everyone loses.
ReplyDeleteSettlers of Catan is my all time favourite but I enjoy a variety of them. Unfortunately my husband doesn't like to play board games and my children are out of the house. However when they are all home they play Arkam Horror. Too hard for me to remember the rules.

I love to play games too. My boyfriend and I play bingo at the Senior Lounge once a month and we play Monopoly together. He has a birthday coming soon and I bought Bunco, which is a dice game.
