  7. Hubby and I try to play a game or two of Skip-Bo every day. It gets us to focus on one another (even if just to make faces at the blocking plays), rather than just inhabit the same house while doing our own 'thing'.

  24. I love these fabrics, thanks for a really great giveaway. Nowadays rainy days herald the appearance of chldren's games in our house but they are so much fun - Ants in my Pants is a big favourite but you can't beat the old reliables like snakes and ladders.

  40. I like to play make-believe (with my toddler and preschooler). They are too young for games with rules (at least, they don't really follow rules and make up their uber-flexible rules). With my adult friends, I also love to play Quelph.

  44. Rainy days? What is that?? LOL! I live in the high desert so rain is a very seldom guest! But as a kid..rainy days meant playing "boat" with our beds as our boats and we'd make up places we'd sail to and also Battleship..done on handmade graph paper! Thanks for the giveaway

  52. I started my grandchildren on card games that my grandmoother taught me on rainy days!! We have a blast!! They are 7 and 4 so we adjust :)

  64. My favorite pastime other than sewing is putting together jigsaw puzzles. Actually I do that mostly in the winter, but it makes for a good rainy day project too!

  74. Awhile back, we found some new board games that keeps all the kids and their significant others entertained for hours. They are the Redneck Game of Life and Trailer Park Wars. They are pretty cheesy, and fairly clean fun. Who does not want a dozen red headed stepkids named Daryl ? LOL Thanks for the contest.

  86. Alone, I love to break out a jigsaw puzzle. My younger grandkids love card games. Have you ever played Smurfs? My Mom use to bring it when she would visit and my grownup daughter found it for me on ebay so I could bring it when I visit. It's a card game a lot like war but because they are Smurfs, so much cuter. Thanks.

  121. We've got this game called Pandemic- it has expansion packs too. It's quite complicated at first but you play against the game, so everyone either wins or everyone loses.

  122. Settlers of Catan is my all time favourite but I enjoy a variety of them. Unfortunately my husband doesn't like to play board games and my children are out of the house. However when they are all home they play Arkam Horror. Too hard for me to remember the rules.

  142. I love to play games too. My boyfriend and I play bingo at the Senior Lounge once a month and we play Monopoly together. He has a birthday coming soon and I bought Bunco, which is a dice game.
