Thank you, Madame Samm for putting this blog hop together and allowing me the opportunity to cheer everyone on. This is too much fun!
When doing a little hand sewing, I have never had a place to just relax...
Until now.
(Thank you, hubby for the SEW pretty wall décor.)
This bench was very hard to sit on until I drew out the seat and made a cushion for it.
This is my first attempt at any kind of upholstery.
Foam? oh yes I can.
I made my own piping out of the button fabric to trim the cushion nicely.
I needed a lamp, so I re-covered a lamp shade and added some button trim. (love)
A no sew project, oh my. Just fabric, scissors, glue, and trim.
A no sew project, oh my. Just fabric, scissors, glue, and trim.
A pin cushion and a thread catcher with ruffles.
Whimsical and happy.
Need a ruffle tutorial?
Check out Madame Samm's tutorial.
No sewing room is complete without a Dresden.
Or two.
This one doesn't let the eye rest. Very busy on pattern...
Not as bad in person, but when I look at the photo, well, hmm.
Not as bad in person, but when I look at the photo, well, hmm.
Storage is a must. I'll fill these in no time. The panels made it easy for me to determine the size.
I'll do a tutorial soon.
And a footstool with ruffles.
There is storage here too...
These were on sale for 90% off after Christmas. That made them $1.00 a piece.
I painted them black (actually, hubby did)
Added a cushion on top. More foam!
(Hubby reinforced the top of the box with a board)
2 layers of ruffles and I have a very nice footstool.
The boxes can hold a lot of stuff! lol
It even makes for a nice outdoor space.
All that is missing is YOU!
And where is a mug rug and a cup of coffee?
Guess you know what I am making next...
So when you come over you will have a nice place to sit.
Here are the other She Who Sews Hoppers of the day:
Creatin' in the
Sticks You are here!
Tomorrow there will be a lot of doors stopped.
Now, for a giveaway.
Believe it or not, I didn't use all the fabric.
I ran out of time.
The Giveaway is over
and
The Winner is
Robin!
