Sandy Quilt Block Drive

My blocks for the Sandy Quilt Block Drive are finished and ready to be mailed to my team leader.  The drive is organized by Mishka over at The Quilting Gallery.

These blocks were really fun to make and it felt good to get involved in such a worthy cause.  I had more trouble making a label for the quilt than I did with the blocks.  If you are interested in helping, check out this link:

We are sad that our Kansas State Wildcat Football Team lost last night.  It was fun to be ranked #1 for a week.  We will see how this one loss effects the rankings.

    Your Sandy quilt blocks are so nice. I'm working with mine right now. Thanks for showing me the little name block. I didn't know how to make it, but now I understand.

      Thanks. I contacted the leader of my group because I wasn't sure either. I just made it 5 x 5 with finished edges and the lady making the quilt said she would just tack the labels on. Hope that helps...
