Hop-inspired Mug Rugs - No Ring November Blog Hop and Giveaway

Welcome to Creatin' in the Sticks
and
my day - the final day for the No Ring November Mug Rug Blog Hop.

To all that participated or commented -
Thank you so much!

My head is swimming with all kinds of ideas
and I can't wait to try some new things.

But first, it's my day to show my
Hop-inspired Mug Rugs.

I enjoy hosting blog hop events so much!

Joan from Moosestash Quilting, Carol from Just Let Me Quilt
and I, Carla from Creatin' in the Sticks
take turns hosting the blog hops and themes/challenges.

We have been working together to plan next year's hops.

Today I am sharing mug rugs that I have made in preparation for upcoming blog hops.
Mug Rugs are great little practice pieces for the future.

First, there is one more blog hop this year.

This Christmas Gnome was paper pieced and I think he will be great in a larger project.
I can't wait to show it, but that will have to wait until the

is announcing sign-ups for the Polar Bear Plunge Blog Hop today!!!

Bears, Blue, or anything cold.  That is the challenge.
I think this mug rug fits that bill.
Joan has all the details for the hop on her blog.

I will be hosting February's blog hop.

I'm just sharing the theme/challenge.
No need to worry about sign-ups yet, we will do that 2 months before the hop.
It's all about pink or being tickled (if you want) LOL
I'm going to try to perfect some pink feathers as I practiced on this mug rug.

Carol at Just Let Me Quilt is hosting March's blog hop.

Once again, I'm just sharing the theme/challenge.
No need to worry about sign-ups yet, we will do that 2 months before the hop.
It's all about my favorite block: the hourglass block.
This is one idea I have.

Now you have a little info about what we have planned for the first 3 months of the year.
I had so much fun making little quilts (mug rugs), this may be something to do for every hop.

We are celebrating mug rugs with a blog hop
and
I've invited my blogging friends to
stitch little works of art!

I'm sharing my day with these bloggers:

  1. They are all wonderful. The Queens Bee and your Santa are my favorites for today but I really want that Hummingbird. It would be so wonderful as a name tag.
