Ghastly Ghouls - A Pterodactyl Halloween

Welcome to the first day of the

Gastly Ghouls Blog Hop!

I'm happy to kick things off with
A Pterodactyl Halloween

Carol at Just Let Me Quilt presented bloggers with the challenge to make something spooky, kooky, or anything wickedly Halloween.  Of course, I was in.  This is right up my alley.

Thank you, Carol, for inviting me to join this super fun blog hop!

I'm keeping up with my tradition with this one.

I have 1 very special girl (my daughter) that loves Halloween
and her daughter loves it too!

So I started a tradition to make a little doll to look like
my Granddaughter in her Halloween costume every year.
She has the last 3 years of Halloween Friends and loves them.

When I texted my daughter to ask what my Granddaughter was dressing up as this year for Halloween,
this is the picture I received:

Well, that was a surprise, but I put on my Grammie panties and got to work. lol

I designed it by tweaking an original doll design.

Lizzy put on her costume for a little Boo at the Zoo action.
Perfect timing for the hop!
So I gave her the new Halloween Friend.
I think she likes it!

I have yet to make a bag to keep all of the Halloween Friends.
That has to be a priority for next year, but for now, she plays with them year-round.

Want some more Ghastly Ghouls stitching inspiration?

Here is the complete schedule:

It's so fun to get inspiration from Blog Hops.
This is my favorite time of year for stitching.

I think Lizzy likes it too!

Halloween Tic Tac Toe

 Have you been Halloween stitching?

I've been having so much fun with it.

This is my newest pattern and it's free over at Thermoweb,

Halloween Tic Tac Toe Game.

My kids have already played with it.

It's so fun to use as decor on a side table and can be played anytime during the season.

It only takes a few things to make this fun

Halloween Tic Tac Toe Game.

HeatnBond EZ Print Lite  iron-on adhesive – 2 sheets
along with fabric, felt, and Aurfil thread.

You won't believe how easy HeatnBond EZ Print Lite makes it to create the game pieces.

Check out the free pattern over at Thermoweb.

This is my favorite time of year for stitching.
We have a blog hop starting Monday
and
I'll be sharing a little more stitching for Halloween.
